2015 is the 100th anniversary for our ANZACs and we have been learning about the relevance of it and how it relates to us. We have created a display in Homeroom 6 (Thanks Mrs Monaghan!!) where you will find some of our wonderings and our little poppy garden that we planted today. Yesterday morning, Mr Davies came into our POD and 4 of our students made the crosses that form a part of the memorial next to the Junior Playground.
Today we held a ceremony which was attended by the Army and Airforce and we even heard The Last Post played on the bugle.
It was a very poignant ceremony and we had shivers running down our spine.
Please come and visit our display in Homeroom 6 as it continues to develop over the next couple of weeks.
