The Whakarongo Kid focus each week, is based on one of our school based values. (Scroll down to see each weeks winners).

Every week, one child from each homeroom will receive a certificate relating to the value being focused on for that week. They will receive a certificate in assembly, have their name published in the newsletter and also get to take the classroom mascot home for the weekend.
Homeroom 1's Mascot is DuckieHomeroom 5's Mascot is Lachy the Leprachaun
Homeroom 6's Mascot is George the Gorilla.
