Science

We are investigators and experimenters!!!

Here are our exciting science boards that were created from three of the experiments.

Wow!!  Connor G has been on the blog and seen some fabulous science experiments.  Great work Connor.  Have a look at his wonderful photos and videos that he brought to school for us to share.

Experiment Time!!!!!!!
We learnt about the effects of gravity and were so excited about Mrs McCartney twirling a billy around INSIDE THE CLASSROOM!!  Luckily none of the water fell out!

Here are some great experiments to try at home.  Make sure you come and tell us how they turned out if you do conduct these experiments.  Remember - being a Scientist involves working out WHAT is happening and WHY.

This term we are learning all about Science and how it relates to our world.  We will be conducting experiments and learning how to predict, question, investigate and find answers.

Here is our first experiment:
Coke and mentos.
The coke exploded into a geyser when we put the mentos in because of the combination between the little dimples on the mentos and the carbon dioxide in the coke.
