We always spend the first few days of the term getting to know our independent activities.  One of our stations is the Strand Station (patterns at the moment) and there is also a Place Value Station and a Counting Station.

Tuesday 16th June

We have been learning about making patterns out of shapes and other objects.  Last week we worked collaboratively to make our patterns into sequential patterns.  Here are some photos.

Some more fabulous activities.  It is just great to see the children choosing their own activities and thinking about what they need to do in order to improve their maths.

Krystal and her maths

Krystal worked independently today to complete her numbers 1- 100.  What a fantastic activity to help with your learning.  We are so proud of you!

Boy, are we loving working with numbers in a variety of ways.   We can workshop with Teachers, collaborate and problem-solve alongside each other or independently tackle our numbers and LI's (Learning Intentions) using books, number boxes or support games and activities.
